A big thank you to all of our volunteers who stepped up today to help us serve our veterans!

With the power still out at the church, we handed out bagged lunches. We appreciate everyone who was helpful, and kept a positive attitude through the change of plans. It looks like the power is back on, so we should be back to our normal Friday meal service.

Thank you, volunteers, for always showing up! 🇺🇸

Recent update for donations and sites to get help:

As recovery continues after Monday's tornado, emergency officials are asking the public to change how they help.

We’re still here serving our veterans! 🇺🇸

Due to the church being without power, we are unable to operate inside today. However, that won’t stop us from making sure our veterans are cared for.

We will be outside at St. James Methodist Church today from 10 AM–12 PM handing out bagged lunches.

📢 Meal Service Update 📢

Although we’re still without power at St. James United Methodist Church of Appleton following this week’s storms, Vets & Friends of Wisconsin will still be serving our veterans tomorrow (Wednesday)!

To keep everyone safe and ensure no one goes without a meal, we’ll be providing boxed lunches instead of our usual sit-down meal.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as our community continues to recover. As always, thank you to our incredible volunteers and supporters for helping us continue our mission, even under challenging circumstances.

If you know a veteran who could use a meal, please help spread the word.

Stay safe, and thank you for supporting those who have served. 🇺🇸❤️

Time: Our regular meal service time (10 AM - 12 PM)
