This week kicks off Letter Writing Week! ✉️

There’s something truly special about a handwritten letter — it opens the door to creativity, reflection, and connection. For children, it’s a wonderful way to nurture a love of reading, writing, and lifelong literacy.

Encourage a child to jot down a note to someone they love, write a heartfelt thank-you to a friend, or share a simple message of kindness with someone who needs it.

These small letters can create BIG moments of joy, confidence, and connection. ❤️

We want to start with something simple but heartfelt: thank you.

While we finalize the numbers from 2025, one thing is already clear. Your generosity helped make it a powerful year for Marine Toys for Tots and for the children we served across the Nation.
But compassion does not end when the calendar changes.

Because of you, children continue to feel supported, cared for, and remembered well beyond the holiday season. Your kindness shows children that they matter every day of the year, not just for a single day on the calendar.

Your generosity throughout 2025 helped provide toys, books, and comfort to disadvantaged girls and boys. You stood with children when it mattered most and continued to stand with them long after the holidays passed.

As we step into 2026, children facing poverty, uncertainty, and unexpected hardship still need hope and emotional relief. Compassion doesn’t follow a calendar, and neither does our mission.

One meaningful way to carry compassion forward into the new year is by becoming a monthly supporter. Monthly giving helps ensure children receive care and support all year long, not just during the holidays.

We are deeply grateful for the role you play in this work. Your generosity allows Marine Toys for Tots to serve disadvantaged children with dignity, care, and hope, season after season.
We have important work ahead in 2026, and I look forward to sharing how your compassion continues to make a difference for children in need across the Nation.

Be sure to follow this page as we will be posting future events for the year. Some of the local libraries have partner with us.Toys for tots has a Literacy program that focuses on providing books and assistance to helping those whom wish to get better with or learn to read for the first time. In 2025 we are proud of the six adults who achieved reading ability. One was 62 years old. So its for everyone regardless of age. Thay all worked hard as did our volunteers 🙋‍♂️. The dates for the events are still to be determined but we will be posting events soon.

The sleigh bells have stopped ringing, the toys have been delivered, and our hearts? Overflowing with cheer —yule never know how much. 💖

Our toy count is in. And thanks to our amazing community and its supporting businesses we had over 22,000 toys donated. This helped over 8739 kids this 2025 season. Between the 1500 families that registered online, our non-profit and foundations we were slammed with one of the most challenging seasons I've ever been a part of. There are many things we can do better and we will do so. We also need feed back on how our volunteers and the program conducted itself. [email protected] is where to send your feed back please. But let's remember our Holiday Heros are the ones who stepped up with a box saying we are here to help. There will be pictures and a shout out to each of them over the next few weeks. Well done. This was made possible by last minute donations, by those who wish to remain anonymous. We thank all those involved who made this possible. Garrett and Haley awesome job in bringing this need to our attention and supporting its ex*****on to completion.

Mason County EMS joined forces with Toys for Tots in a heartwarming partnership, spreading joy and hope to families in need, thanks to the efforts of Haley Harper, Garrett Braniff, the Toys for Tots Mason county coordinator and local community agencies. The DHHR office was able to bless families and children with a Merry Christmas morning. The compassionate CPS workers ensured that children in foster care and CPS care woke up to a joyful Christmas morning, filling their hearts with love and happiness
