Our girl saw an opportunity to help build the Care Closet at her elementary school, so here we are introducing her next good deed! But, she needs your help to make this a success 🥰

Kiski Area North Primary can use our help fulfilling item needs and replenishing others for their Care Closet. It is a good time to clean out your closets and share clean, outgrown, clothing in the available bins at North, or shop our Amazon Wishlist which can be found by scanning the QR code below.

Seven years to the day…

She did it. WE did it. By God’s grace, today Nora walked out of CHP as a survivor.

I’ll write more at another time, but for now know that the power of your prayers has carried us through. There was a time when we could not even imagine standing where we do today, but now that we made it, the view sure is amazing!

A lot of pajamas. A lot of comfort. Even more love.

We made a meaningful impact on Nora’s diagnosis date this year. 7 years ago, a mismatched pair of pajamas in the ED of UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, put this all in motion. A moment that resonated within my heart opened up a pathway to make a difference. Everything happens for a reason 🫶🏻

“It’s comfort and pure love.” -Nora

The smile on Nora’s face says it all. Our hearts are FULL of gratitude. The outpouring of support that surrounds us, embodies our mission. One of hope. One of connection.

Thank you- the words hold much more weight than normal on this day. Our community, our people, they show up. Always. And in big ways. We are Blessed because we can then share that steadfast love with others.

Until next year, pajama warriors! Well maybe not… Nora has some other ideas to share before then😉 xo, The Caps

We have A LOT of thank yous going out today! Tomorrow is the BIG delivery🚚 We have recorded and sorted each pair of cozy pjs and loaded them into the trailer that U-Haul in Lower Burrell has so graciously donated to us! As the last pairs trickle in, we will add them to our overflowing donation boxes.

And last but not least to the outpouring of love from our donation locations! We are grateful for you all!

As our collection number continues to grow, so does the excitement🤭
