Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've posted here.

I would like to announce the return of The Outdoor Classroom with Chloe, starting in the Fall at a new location!

Ford City PA 16226

I am looking for children in need of outdoor learning opportunities. Whether they have absolutely no experience exploring the outside (scared of getting dirty, wet, bugs, animals) or if they are very interested in messy nature play and being around a wide variety of animals (chickens, ducks, lambs, goats, Snakes, lizards, crayfish) The Outdoor Classroom with Chloe will provide a safe space to make everyone comfortable and eager to learn.

Allow me to share my love and appreciation of nature, so they may take the experiences on with them through out life. As the founder of Waldorf Education, Rudolf Steiner once said, "Receive the children in reverence, educate them in love, and send them forth in freedom."

We are all spending more and more time inside and using electronics, many forget just how important it is for our little ones to experience the Earth, through the feel of grass beneath their feet, the smell of fresh air, the warmth of sunshine. To experience being one with nature and all the precious animals and creatures.

As a group we will learn outside and explore on our fenced in 2 acre property while identifying; plants, bugs, animals, and experimenting with the elements through mud play, stream exploration, and then create wonderful works of art during each session. Parents must stay on premises but are not required to assist.

Beginning September 9th, every Monday
from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Story time

Goat Yoga
Clean up

Please dress children in appropriate clothing; We meet rain or shine and get dirty and wet. Sunscreen and water bottles are required.
Farm fresh snack will be provided.

I must apologize now that I realize I've been neglecting this page and thoughts of outdoor learning because I have been so busy adapting to the new regulations and needs of more children and families looking into outdoor learning. The concept of holding class outside has become a big part of my and my daughters lives now. We had moved weekly meetings to our local park, Franklin Avenue Park. Beautiful set up with the community garden going (another one of my projects with the Vandergrift Parent Project) and with the new gathering area and natural benches I've been able to put in there, the space has turned into such a nice learning environment. This summer was great and I'm having to see the come of winter, where no one not even I want to be out in the cold. My mind has so many ideas and I've networked with so many fantastic individuals to help build this dream learning environment in our local park. Coming in the spring we will hopefully have a sensory garden and also I hear a berry patch as well. The outdoor classroom is a catch all phrase now, being that so many of the layers in life overlap this concept and have really helped mature the plan and set it to prosper.
