Get your picnic blankets ready! On November 8th, 2025, we are hosting our first ever fundraiser at Apex Nature Park, from 11AM-1PM!

Bring the whole family to SWANEC’s “Eco-Picnic” where we’ll have outdoor games, desserts, and live performances from local artists!!

~Free to attend
~No reservation needed
~All are welcome to bring lawn chairs/picnic blankets as the venue will be outdoors

We plan to raise funding for our native ecosystem showcase garden at Crowder Park, along with supplies and plant plugs for native species re-implementations.

Our Summer Invasive Plant Hunt has officially come to an end… As the project wraps up, we cannot thank our community enough for providing the support to make this cause possible. From volunteers to park coordinators, everyone has played their part and we are beyond grateful!

Keep up with our summer invasive plant hunt on our instagram account

So far we have removed 579 pounds of invasive plants and managed to grant over 185 service hours!

Thank you so much to Apex Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources for letting us host our booth at the Pollinators in the Peak Event on June 26th a couple weeks ago!

We had a great time being able to teach our local community members about native ecosystem conservation and the effect of invasive plant species on local pollinators.
