Farwell to our beloved Alec. Our hearts sadly broken today with the news of his sudden passing. Mom and Dad did all they could but it was time to let go and be free to track on the other side. Alec worked tirelessly during his career with Middlesex County Prosecutors Office in New Jersey, to bring home the missing and endangered. His countless saves will never be forgotten. We know he is on a new journey but his tail will always be wagging watching over with a love that will never fade. As a family, we say together, thank you for your service. We will miss you dearly. True Blue - True Love , Always.

Yesterday, K9 Artie and her handler, Deputy Hughes, helped bring a family back together. Artie successfully tracked a non-verbal autistic 6 year old child who had wandered about 8/10ths of a mile from home. She was found safe, playing in a shed behind a nearby home, and was quickly reunited with her loved ones. We’re very proud of Artie and Deputy Hughes, and thankful this story had such a happy ending.

Sun Outdoors, resort park of Sarasota graciously allowed our teams to use their facility to train on Tuesday 8/19/25. The distractions of cars, kids, animals and summer fun were just what our hounds needed to successfully find their decoys! Teams, trainers and volunteers all welcomed the opportunity to enjoy education and sunshine with our family feel.

Great day training at Maxine Barrett Park today. Yes it was hot but all dogs waited their turns in their air conditioned kennels. All officers from near and far were impressive as always! One day down, four to go. Thank you volunteers Joe, Christina, and Monica. We can't train or certify without people like you!

True Blue Bloodhounds will be in Venice August 18th through the 23rd. On Thursday the 21st we will be training at Advinia Care of Venice senior living, 950 Pinebrook Rd 34285 Our little town will see plenty of law enforcement vehicles as they will be staged at Pinebrook Park. Please share with friends and neighbors so they are not alarmed by this display. We want everyone to know this is training and education, not an emergency. Venice Police department is aware and will be tracking our progress as needed.
