After $22 million in budget cuts and another $10 million projected, our community needs to act.

We can choose to stabilize and strengthen our schools. We can build schools where students have the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Sign our petition on Monday between 5:30 and 6:30 PM in front of Sandburg Education Center.

Did you know?

Research shows that supportive school communities can reduce behavior problems, improve student behavior and school climate, help prevent violence and bullying, and support stronger academic outcomes.

More trusted adults in our schools means more students are safe, supported, and ready to learn.

This year, our district cut social workers down to just one per building, making our schools less safe and putting the learning environment at risk.

We are collecting signatures from Anoka-Hennepin residents to submit an official petition to the school board and put two school funding questions on the fall ballot.

Linda’s own concerns show exactly why Anoka-Hennepin needs an operating levy.

If we want safer schools and stronger learning environments, we need trusted staff in our buildings. We need lower class sizes. We need educators, paras, social workers, counselors, and support staff who know our kids and can respond before problems grow.

Linda knows our district needs more revenue. But instead of giving the community a chance to vote, she is choosing to starve our schools of the funding they need to provide safe, stable, and supportive learning environments.

Our kids deserve better.

If not, Monday is your chance! Stop by Sandburg Education Center and we’ll make it easy. You can drive up or park, and we will come to you.

You can also stay for a few minutes and help decorate the sidewalk with chalk messages in support of strong schools.

Let’s show our community that Anoka-Hennepin families are ready to fund our schools and let voters decide.

Thank you, State Rep. Kari Rehrauer, for signing our school funding petition!

This petition gives our community the chance to vote on school funding and decide the future of our schools.

Rep. Rehrauer was a public school teacher for 20 years, and she knows how much strong schools matter to students, families, and communities. We are grateful to have her support as we work to give Anoka-Hennepin voters a voice.
