SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY 🦁

The Anniston Lions Club is proud to support The Right Place in Anniston with a $2,000 donation!

The Right Place does so much more than help individuals find housing. They offer rental and utility assistance, homelessness prevention, mental health first aid training, and help navigating affordable health insurance.

This is why we fundraise! Events like our Janney Furnace 5K help us support organizations doing important work right here in Calhoun County.

Thank you to everyone who supports the Anniston Lions Club and helps us continue to serve!

WE SERVE!

At our Anniston Lions Club meeting, we heard from Natasha Pritchett, a Board of Directors member for Camille Place.

Camille Place serves girls, while Samuel Place serves boys who have survived s*x trafficking. One of the hardest things to hear was that many of these children were trafficked by their own family members.

It's heartbreaking to think about what these children have endured, but I'm thankful there are people and places dedicated to helping them heal, feel safe, and have a chance at a better future.

Thank you, Natasha, for sharing this important mission with our Anniston Lions Club. Awareness matters, and so does having these conversations.

We Serve.

How do we raise money for our community?

Annual 5k fundraisers and holiday pecan sales - this allows us to give back to others here in our community.

Lions Clubs across our communities are coming together to help stock local food pantries and support families right here at home.

Be on the lookout for Lions Club collection boxes at your local grocery stores and drop off a few non-perishable food items while you shop. Every can, box and bag adds up!

The food drive runs through October 28, 2026.

Different communities. One mission. WE SERVE. 🦁

Anniston Lions Club is proud to donate $500 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Central Alabama!

The Boys & Girls Club gives local kids a safe place to learn, grow and belong through homework help, education and career programs, sports and recreation, healthy-lifestyle programs, and character and leadership development. They serve approximately 400 children each year across East Central Alabama.

Supporting our youth means supporting the future of our community.

WE SERVE. 🦁 Boys & Girls Clubs of America
