🍁 Our First Autumn Campout — A Weekend to Remember! 🍁
This weekend, our brand-new Cub Scout Pack held its very first autumn campout — and what an incredible adventure it was!
Our Cubs hit the trail for a nature hike, exploring the signs of fall and discovering the beauty of the outdoors together. They practiced proper flag etiquette with pride, worked on learning and tying knots, played energetic games, and put the buddy system into action all weekend long. For some of our Scouts, this was their very first time sleeping in a tent — and they did it like pros!
We are especially grateful to the Scouts and leaders from Troop 432 and Troop 288, who stepped up to guide activities, mentor our younger Scouts, and truly embody the spirit of Scouting. They didn’t stop there — they also hosted our Pack families for a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings that warmed everyone after a crisp fall day.
And of course, no campout would be complete without a campfire! The evening was filled with songs, skits, laughter, and plenty of perfectly roasted (and a few perfectly charred!) marshmallows.
It was a weekend of firsts, friendships, learning, and memories that will last a lifetime. If this is how we begin, we can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead!
