The Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster Alumni Chapter was established on December 6, 1958, originally as the Inkster Alumni Chapter. The original membership totaled 20 members. The purpose of this chapter is three-fold:
1. Support and guidance for the Sigma (University of Michigan) and Delta Nu (Eastern Michigan University) undergraduate chapters
3. Guidance and inspiration for youth in suburban Detroit

The AAYI Kappas appreciate your support of our Women of Achievement event last weekend (6/6/26). Media updates are coming in short order.

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the DoubleTree of Ann Arbor North, the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster community will reap the work that we have sown throughout the calendar year. Our Kappa Foundation will be hosting our 2026 Scholarship Luncheon, where we will be awarding twenty-seven (27) scholarships to aspiring students.

This is a public event. Tickets are $45 each. Proceeds go toward offsetting costs for the meals and the venue.

Would you like to "Kruise with the Kappas?

Save the date: on August 15, 2026 from 8 PM-10 PM the AAYI Nupes will embark upon a voyage abord the Princess near Belle Isle.

This is a semi-formal event, so we're gonna keep it Klassy before closing out the summer season.

Light hors d'oeuvres will be served alongside a cash bar. Proceeds for this event will contribute to our chapter's pursuit of Achievement within the community.
