Giving back is CHIC!💅🎁

Starting October 1st through November 30th, join us in giving back to the young ladies of our community. We will be collecting donations of Hair Care, Feminine Care, Self Care, Gift Cards, Monetary Donations, and other gifts for these young women. 💗🎄✨

A new school year means another year of showing up for Iowa youth 💗

Our team is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where girls can build confidence, strengthen their mental health, develop life skills, and connect with positive mentors who believe in them.

As we head into the 2026–2027 school year, we’re excited to continue partnering with Iowa schools, educators, youth-serving organizations, nonprofits, and community leaders to support young people across our communities.

Kinda Chic to give back this holiday season! 💅🎁

Join us this Christmas in giving back to the young ladies of our community. We will be collecting donations starting October 1st through November 30th. This ensures plenty of time to collect items and make sure they get delivered in time for Christmas! 💗🎄✨

Check out the lists of suggested items or they accept monetary donations & gift cards. We will also have select items on sale throughout the salon that would be excellent donations as well. 🎁

✨ We're Hiring a Part-Time Intern! ✨

CHIC is looking for a Part-Time Intern to help facilitate girls groups in school and community settings. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about empowering youth and creating safe, supportive spaces where girls can build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop life skills.

Groups are held Monday–Thursday from approximately 3:30–5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on programming needs. This position is perfect for a college student or someone looking for meaningful part-time work in the afternoons.

We're seeking someone with an interest in social work, psychology, education, or a related field.

Registration is now open! ✨
Join us for CHIC's 3rd Annual Professional Development Conference on Friday, December 4th, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at the FFA Enrichment Center.

This conference brings together the people who show up for youth and our community every day. Last year, we welcomed educators, counselors, law enforcement, nonprofit organizations, state agencies, mentors, and community leaders from across Iowa for a day of learning, collaboration, and meaningful conversations.
