📢 Holiday Office Closure Notice

In observance of Juneteenth, The Women’s Center of Brazoria County office will be closed on Friday, June 19.

While our office will be closed, our commitment to supporting survivors remains unchanged. All hotline services and essential support services will continue to be available.

If you need assistance, please contact our 24-hour hotline. Help is always available.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Juneteenth as we honor this important day of freedom, reflection, and community.

Out of an abundance of caution with regard to the weather, the Women’s Center office will not be open on Wednesday, June 17th. We plan to be open Thursday, but will post here if that changes. All hotlines and services are still available even when the office is closed. Stay dry and safe, B County!

We're excited to announce that the Women's Center of Brazoria County's Second Annual Unmasking the Violence Gala will take place on September 17, 2026, at RiverPlace in Freeport.

This special evening brings our community together to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout Brazoria County. Funds raised through this event help provide critical services, advocacy, crisis support, and shelter for those seeking safety and healing.

In 2024, our gala was an incredible success, and we hope you'll join us as we work to make an even greater impact this year.

A huge thank you to the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for inviting us to be part of today’s golf tournament! ⛳️

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many amazing local businesses, community leaders, and supporters. Events like these help strengthen relationships, promote collaboration, and showcase the incredible spirit of our community.

We are beyond thrilled that this new shelter has become a reality. Only a few loose ends to tie up and we will be ready!

The Women’s Center unveiled the completed Vicky Vicki Shelter, a secure new facility designed to provide safety, stability and hope for survivors and their children.

Super grateful for Chris Wise and Imperial Dade for their donation of cleaning supplies and paper goods for our shelters. When we receive donations of higher ticket items like these, it frees up money to be used on food and other necessities. Thank you, also, to board member, Mary VanNoort for organizing this donation for us, we are definitely thankful for you!
