As of today, June 4th, the Angier Angel Fund has collected $43,742.30 and has been able to award 21 small businesses with grants ranging from $500 - $3,000. We are still accepting donations to be able to award more applicants. Donations can be made in person at First Bank in Angier, mailed to PO Box 1178, Angier, NC 27501, or online at www.angierangelfund.org. If writing a check, please make payable to Angier Angel Fund.

Using Fundraising to Provide Support

In direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Angier leaders came together to establish and the Angier Angel Fund. They received a total of $46,000 within a two-week campaign period. Funds were used to provide grants of up to $3,000 to local owned, brick and mortar, small businesses in Angier. So far 17 businesses have received funds, six of those businesses being in downtown. The Angel fund remains available for donations and will be dispersed as received.

Angier Angel Fund

Small Businesses are the heart of our local economy. They represent people who love Angier enough to stake their livelihood on our community. They employ some of the hardest working people in Angier. Many of them have given of their time, talent, and treasure to support initiatives within our beautiful town. And right now Local Small Businesses are Being Crushed by the COVID-19 Pandemic. If we want a vibrant Angier in September, then we must act now!

Leaders have come together in Angier to establish the Angier Angel Fund to provide Grants of up to $3,000 to local-owned, brick-and-mortar small businesses in Angier, NC. These Grants can be used to pay rent, make a dent in payroll, or for other vital operating expenses.

The Angier Angel Fund is being established in direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect upon our community.

Who is eligible for a grant?
