Hi! I’m Riah! I’m about 4 months old and basically a professional good girl with a little puppy chaos mixed in.

I LOVE other dogs, my people, and especially kiddos! If there are kids around, you can bet I want to be part of whatever they’re doing. Cats? Jury’s still out.

I’m also OBSESSED with water. Kiddie pool? Yes. Sprinkler? Absolutely. Random puddle? Don’t tempt me.

I’m a kennel superstar! I might sing you the sad song of my people for a few minutes, but then I settle right in. I also know that when food comes out, it’s time to RUN to my kennel because that’s my personal dining room.

I’m doing great with potty training as long as you take me out often, especially right after I wake up. Speaking of waking up… mornings are when my puppy energy is at its PEAK. Zoomies may occur.

My one weakness? Car rides. They make my tummy feel weird, so I drool… a lot… and sometimes lose my lunch. I’m hoping I grow out of that because road trips sound fun in theory!

Mostly, I’m a sweet, silly, water-loving, kid-loving little girl who just wants to be wherever my people are. I’m usually on my best behavior, with the occasional reminder that I am, in fact, still a puppy.

Basically, I think I’d be the perfect addition to your family. I’ll bring the cuddles, laughs, zoomies and unconditional love. You just provide the people… and maybe a kiddie pool.

You’ve seen Dottie, Aldo, and Dora featured individually, but this month we’re putting the spotlight on all three of them together. 💚

These three are looking for a new forever home after their owner passed away. They’ve already experienced a big change, and now they’re hoping to find someone who will give them the love, stability, and home they deserve.

For the month of October, adoption fees are waived for Dottie, Aldo, and Dora!

Dottie and Dora will need to be adopted separately, but Aldo can be adopted with either female or as an individual. Our hope is that each of them finds the right home where they can enjoy their next chapter.

The Queen of Belly Rubs! 🐾

Dora came to MPBR as a terrified, shy, shutdown dog but through the help of her dad, she blossomed into a sweet little gal!

Dora is 5 years old and has lived in her previous home for the past 4 years. Sadly, her dad passed away and she needs to find a new forever home. 🏡

Dora previously lived with an adult female dog and adult male dog. She would do best as the only dog or with another male dog. (She didn't always get along with the female dog in the house.)

She has not lived with cats or kids.

If you are looking for a job (clearly, belly rubs 24/7), Dora may be your gal! 🥰

Meet Aldo! 🐾

Aldo came to MPBR back in 2016 when he was 1 year old. He was adopted a few weeks later and has been with his dad ever since.

10 years with the same human. Unfortunately, his dad passed away a few weeks ago and Aldo is looking for a quiet home that he can live out his last few years.

Aldo has lived with two other female dogs and did well with them. He has not lived with kids or cats. If you have another older female dog, they may be a good match.

He needs a cozy bed to lay on and ALL the snuggles you have to offer. 🥰

Meet Dottie 🐾

A sweet older gal looking for a place to call home after her owner passed away. She will be headed to boarding on 9/28 if we can't find her a foster or adopter.

We want to see her in a home, warm under blankets, and enjoying the few years she has left. (If you’ve been following us for awhile you may recognize her as the momma to one of our puppy litters several years back 🥰)

Dottie has not lived with cats or kids previously but did live with three other dogs. So, if you have an older male dog, she may be a good match!

Meet Oryn! 🐾

This handsome 3-4 month old pup is equal parts goofy, curious, playful and smart! Oryn loves tug, training, snacks, other dogs and plenty of snuggles. He’s already working hard on his leash skills, crate training, potty training and puppy manners - and he’s doing great!

Oryn is looking for a patient, active family who will continue helping him learn and grow. He’ll need slow, respectful introductions to new people, older children, and a canine sibling who can help teach him appropriate play boundaries.

Like any puppy, Oryn needs a good balance of training, enrichment, independence and lots of naps!

Meet Dora, Dottie, and Aldo!

Dora- female 6 years old (does not do well with female dogs), loves belly rubs

Dottie- female 10 years old, loves to give kisses

Aldo- male 11 years old, loves to snuggle

All are very affectionate and are looking for a foster(s) or adopter(s).

All three dogs are looking for a new forever homes to live out their golden years after their owner passed away unexpectedly. The females do not get along but the male and one of the females can be adopted together.
