Cat Lives Are Worth Saving Our mission is to bring awareness to the never ending needs of our abandoned , injured, neglected and unwanted animals

I have been a photographer for over 30 years, specializing in family, newborns, Seniors, and pets .... I love Connecting with clients, creating images and friendships that last a lifetime. I have been in my current location for 8 years. During this time I have noticed a tremendous increase in the stray / feral cat population. Because of my overwhelming love of animals, I feel compelled to help as

many as I can in any way I can, leaving them sick, cold, and hungry just isn't an option. I use my photography when I can to draw attention to the problem, and rehome as many as possible I have a website as well as a blog and page for my photography, This blog will be dedicated to drawing awareness to the widespread stray problem, and maybe through donations helping as many as we can with spay / neuter, medical help, food as well as finding their furever homes, or at least caring for them as they live out their lives in their current colonies !

Limit 2 pets per household per year, must provide an Alabama Medicaid Card and ID/DL at time of booking.

$80 covers Spay/Neuter and Rabies

BUT thanks to a new follower, what we do have is a 60 can case of wet cat food donated for our kitties! and ... coincidentally, it's their favorite !! we won't have to buy wet food for nearly TWO WEEKS !! THANK YOU so much megan ! it is appreciated more than you can imagine !! 😍

WE NEED YOUR HELP !

we all know that with summer heat comes the need for flea prevention . For eight years we have been able to keep this under control on our own. Those of us that care for a stray/ feral colony do everything we can to keep them fed and healthy . Sometimes things happen that are beyond what we can fix and requires Veterinary intervention as was the case with our Bagheera yesterday. Cats ( and dogs ) just like humans can and do have allergies , some worse than others and until now its been nothing we couldn't treat. However , for the past month now additional environmental contaminants way beyond the norm and out of our control have been bombarding us on a daily basis . For our kitties that already have environmental / flea allergies this wreaks havoc on them and their skin and causes the need for treatment beyond our control with prescription meds . We need donations to help treat these babies with environmental / flea allergies through the summer and hope the environmental contaminants are temporary and end sooner than later !! Felines under Rescue (Fur) helps us tremendously with spay/ neuter, rabies and ear tipping costs but only covers other expenses if they are currently life threatening services . We understand and respect that but if left untreated a severe allergic reaction like Bagheera had could become life threatening fast . Bagheera was administered a tablet, a topical as well as an anti- biotic injection all prescription ..and will be fine in a week or so . No donation is too small and will be greatly appreciated and can be made directly to Covington Veterinary Care . .
