Rotary e-Club of District 5010 International Chartered in May 2014 and based out of District 5010, we are a club open to members and visitors from all over the globe. Visit us for meeting make-ups!

We keep Rotary accessible and relevant in this age of global communication and connectivity. Being an eClub Rotarian has the same benefits and responsibilities as a more traditional club, but virtual meetings enable flexibility for travel and schedule unpredictability. Although we are based in Alaska, our membership spans from South America to Scandinavia to the Caribbean. We invite you to join u

eClub member Lindsay Knight invites us to take part in the “22 Push-Up Challenge,” an initiative that raises awareness of a sobering reality—on average, 22 veterans lose their lives to su***de each day.

Join Lindsay and the kids as they take on the challenge with energy and enthusiasm, while also sharing the meaning behind this important effort.

Dear eClub Members and Friends-

This is a friendly reminder that our next club meeting will take place this Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 8 a.m. AK time. Please feel free to join us for informal social catch up prior to the meeting at 7:45 a.m. AK.

This week's speakers will be Ashlei Lind and Nicole Hryckiewicz whose topic will focus on Organ Donation . Ashlei is the Donor Family Aftercare Manager at LifeCentre Northwest, where she provides support and resources to organ and tissue donor families. Nicole is a tissue donor recipient herself, as well as the mother of an organ and tissue donor.

Please join us to hear their stories and experiences, and feel free to invite a friend to join you for the meeting.

Kiva Projects March 11, 2026
On March 11th our eClub Kiva sub-committee (international projects) approved the following crowdsourced loans on Kiva.org:
Viwala will provide loans to strengthen companies that protect the coastal shorelines/reefs and improve the well being of communities, Mexico: our loan $25 to this $50,000 project
One Acre Fund will support women farmers with improved seeds and fertilizers, Malawi: our loan $25 toward this $500,000 project
And our feature project for March:
Bamtare Syllame 2 Group; funds will support a grandmother with the purchase of additional livetock to fatten and resell, providing increased stability for her family including the 6 school aged grandchildren she supports, Senegal: our loan $50 toward this $6,150 project .

Come socialize tomorrow! (International Peace Club)

Tomorrow, Monday/Tuesday, March 9/10, 2026, will be a Club Social Time! We understand many of you have been busy. Our club is perfect for those of us who have lots going on in our lives. Join us tomorrow and bring us up to date on your life! If you have projects to tell us about or ideas you would like to share--this is the time! If you have pictures--put them on your desktop and we'll have you share them with us.

We'll plan for everyone to have time to share!

General Joseph Ralston, is a retired general, and former NATO supreme commander and member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He served as a presidential envoy to Türkiye under President George W Bush which is the topic he will be addressing at the meeting.

District 5010 eClub’s Kiva sub-committee on Feb.11th selected the following projects to assist entrepreneurs doing amazing things around the globe. Kiva borrowers are excluded from traditional banking. We approved $25 loans for each of the following:
✓ Los Guerreros de Manantay Group, Peru; funds enable a nurse in the women’s group to purchase medical supplies to enable better patient care, $1200
✓ Verqor, Mexico; to enable agricultural credit via an agri-fintech company to over 100 small-hold farmers, with funding tailored to production cycles, $300,000
✓ Nagima, Uzbekistan, selling a variety of grain products to expand/develop her business and support a child in school and contribute to family expenses, $825
Feature Project:
Timothee Lubumba, Congo (DRC), who has one franchise will launch another safe drinking water business in Durba, working in concert with Jibu, a social enterprise addressing basic human needs (i.e. water) plus training and growing a network of co-invested business owners, $39,500.
