You may be wondering who Archangel is and why we exist. Over the next several months we’ll be doing a series highlighting the units that make up the 176th Wing of Alaska’s Air National Guard and the ways Archangel is supporting them. Originally created as Alaska Pararescue Association, you will see a transition to Archangel throughout 2026 to better reflect our mission to support all of those at the 176th Wing supporting or operating in Rescue. Archangel 2026 Student Scholarships: we are thrilled to announce 3 student scholarships! (2) Future Leaders’ Awards and (1) Career and Academic Pathways Award. Each award will entitle the recipient to $1959 towards their leadership or career goals. Link in bio for eligibility and application rules! Applications close May 15, 2026!
