🌟 October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! 🌟

This month, we celebrate the many contributions that people with disabilities bring to workplaces and communities every day. 💙

Employment is about more than a paycheck. It provides opportunities to build confidence, develop skills, connect with others, contribute to the community, and pursue greater independence.

At Assets, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, pursue meaningful work, and be recognized for the value they bring.

Throughout October, we’ll be highlighting National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) and celebrating the individuals, employers, coworkers, and community partners who help create more inclusive workplaces.

Together, we can build workplaces where everyone has an opportunity to contribute, succeed, and belong. 💼✨

🌟 MASST Program Spotlight! 🌟

We have been fortunate to partner with the MASST program, which supports Alaskans as they reenter the workforce through part-time training placements with local nonprofits and public agencies. Participants build current, job-ready skills while host organizations benefit from the incredible talent and support they bring.

And boy, did we hit the jackpot with Bobette! 💙

Bobette joined our team through the MASST program, and she has quickly become such a valued part of our organization. She is friendly, hardworking, dependable, and an absolute joy to be around. Her positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help have made an impact on our team.

We are so grateful that the MASST program brought Bobette our way! Partnerships like this create meaningful opportunities for individuals while strengthening our workforce and our community.

👏 Thank you, Bobette, for everything you bring to our team! And a huge kudos to the MASST program for creating pathways that help people build skills, confidence, and connections as they work toward their next opportunity.

Assets, Inc. partnered with Matson to participate in Clean Up Day! Our team focused on areas around East Anchorage on Friday, 5/15/26. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers for their participation and hard work and to Matson for helping to make this event possible.
