FREE SHOW - SAT 8/15 in collaboration with Anchorage Downtown Partnership and Anchorage Museum we are bringing this legendary line up to celebrate our season 12 kickoff! We’ll be in the Museum lawn at 5:30pm for a full parlor set that’s totally free. This crew will be fresh from a very special show in Bethel for the Lower Kuskokwim School District where the theme of The Walking Stick will be our song prompt. This prompt is the theme of the middle school curriculum and is founded in Yupik traditional wisdom.

We are so excited to offer this show to the community. We’ll also be announcing some of the artists we have booked for our regular season at Bear Tooth Theatrepub + Grill !!

Feel free to bring a blanket or a lawn chair. We’ll have a food truck on site and some seating options as well. If the weather gets unbearable we’ll move inside the Museum Atrium.

Pamela Parker's Fantastic Machine () is set to deliver the final Live After Five show of the season tomorrow, Wednesday, July 29th at the 24th Annual West End Block Party & Visit Anchorage Business Exchange! Traveling from San Francisco on their way to Salmonfest, Parker brings a genre-spanning sound that blends rock, gospel, R&B, and psychedelia.

The West End Block Party will also feature food trucks favs, a beer and margarita garden, family-friendly activities, free K Street Garage parking courtesy of Diamond Parking, and complementary bike valet provided by Alaska Pablo's Bike Rentals.
The event is made possible with support from our event partners Snow City Cafe, Visit Anchorage, The Hotel Captain Cook, Alaska Airlines Club 49, the Atwood Foundation, Alaskan Brewing Co., Last Frontier Events, and this week's Live After Five concert sponsor, Marsh McLennan Agency.

ADP’s administrative office will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of the holiday. We’re grateful to our Ambassador team, who will continue serving downtown throughout the busy weekend, including First Friday!

New to the FF scene, The High Country is featuring photography exhibit by Chris Owens and giving away free prints to the first 100 people through their doors.

Over at Turnagain Ceramics and in celebration of Pride Month, the studio will feature works of several q***r ceramic artists with a portion of proceeds from the show going to Choosing Our Roots, a local non-profit dedicated to ensuring all LGBTQ+ Alaskan youth and young adults have access to safe homes, supportive communities, and opportunities to thrive.

Finally, Teeny Tiny is thrilled to host mixed-media artist, Emily Longbrake all weekend long.
