Our final team - GHD Group and Reid Middleton, Inc. - is a long-standing one at CANstruction. This year, they're training a very special dragon, Toothless, to help fight hunger. A clever use of construction paper brings details to life - including veins in his wings and his repaired tail.

Team 7 - Kuna Engineering, NANA, and Nana Management Services - created a hunter to battle their Auroragon. Their hunter is using his skill and courage (and wicked ranch dressing spear) to battle the flaming hot cheeto dragon fire of hunger - and we are thankful for him. DOWL, HDR, and Michael Baker International (Team 6) brought Mushu from Mulan to life. With his kidney bean ears and spaghetti whiskers, he's inviting you to share a bowl of rice with him. Team 5 - Enterprise Engineering, Inc. - CANstructed the cutest baby dragon! From the tip of her tail and her cute red toes, to the tops of her soda pop horns; she is ready to pounce. Check out her herb nostrils and Ferrero Rocher eyes in person.

Our fourth team - RESPEC and Roger Hickel Contracting - has a mix of old and new builders. Their sleeping dragon guards their horde. Our second team's CANstructure is sailing through serpent infested waters. Coffman Engineers, Explore Design, and Highland Academy Charter School created a scene to behold with some really fun details including meat stick tongues, tuna splashes, and jiffy pop plating on the ship.

Dragons have officially taken over Dimond Center Mall 🐉

CANstruction Anchorage is now open for public viewing and voting, and these builds are wild. Teams of local engineers and architects turned thousands of cans into massive dragon-themed structures, all to support Food Bank of Alaska.

Come see them up close, pick your favorite and cast your vote.
