The 2026 season is right around the corner, and we are preparing for another exciting year of Panther football and cheer! 🏈📣

All coaches and volunteers are required to attend our MANDATORY Coaches Meeting:

🚨 Cheer coaching selections have been completed, and football coaching selections are still in progress. Official coach lists for BOTH sports will be released soon.

🏈 FOOTBALL COACHING INFORMATION:
This season, only FIVE coaches per team will be allowed on the field during games, and this rule will be strictly enforced by the league.

Please remember — even if you are not selected as an on-field coach, there are still MANY important ways to help support our athletes and teams throughout the season. Practice help, player development, organization, and team support all play a huge role in a successful program.

These coaches are ready to help our athletes grow in confidence, teamwork, leadership, and spirit this season!

🏈💪 FREE SUMMER FOOTBALL WORKOUTS 💪🏈

Volunteer coaches in Anahuac are hosting a series of OPTIONAL football workouts this summer for youth athletes in the Anahuac area!

📅 July 6 – July 24
🗓 Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Anahuac ISD Practice Field
(located north of the Administration Building)

🏈 These workouts are FREE to attend!

Athletes should bring:
✔️ Football pants
✔️ Cleats
✔️ Mouth guard
✔️ Water

🚫 Helmets and shoulder pads are NOT needed.

These workouts are a great opportunity for kids to stay active, improve conditioning, work on football fundamentals, and get extra reps before the season begins.

💛 Open to ALL youth in the Anahuac area.

Introducing the 2026 AYSO Panther Football uniform! 🖤💛🐾

So how did we land on this design?

We started with YOUR feedback from the survey we sent out a couple months ago. We reviewed comments, talked as a board, had conversations with parents and community members in person, and tried our best to find a happy medium where everyone could feel represented and excited about the final look.

At the end of the day, we wanted something clean, bold, modern, and unmistakably PANTHER. 🐾

Now it’s almost time to see them in person!

Don’t forget — football uniform fittings are NEXT WEEK and attendance is REQUIRED for all football players.

🔥 The new uniforms are in and they look AMAZING this season! 🖤💛

📌 Players MUST bring their shoulder pads to fittings so we can make sure jerseys are sized correctly.

⚠️ Please note:
If your child does not attend fittings, we cannot guarantee that their uniform will fit properly.

🖤💛 AYSO Background Check Information 💛🖤

We want to make sure everyone understands the AYSO background check policy and procedures as we prepare for another great season!

Every adult volunteer age 18 and older who will have direct contact with athletes or program participants is required to complete a background check through AYSO.

✅ One background check covers ALL AYSO sports and activities — you do NOT need to complete a separate background check for each sport.

✅ Background checks are valid for TWO YEARS.

✅ The cost is $25.

Not sure if your background check is still active? Reach out to your sport’s board secretary and they can help verify your status.

Background checks are an important part of helping us provide a safe environment for all of our kiddos.

Many of the leagues and organizations we participate with also require background checks for volunteers and coaches.
