Focused on connection, creativity, and meaningful experiences for artists, makers, and the community. Creative Avenue began as a way to bring artists and community together through curated markets, and that heart is still at the center of everything we do. After closing our storefront at The Creative Hub & Coffeehouse in 2025, we returned to those roots while also expanding into new ways of gather

ing. Today, Creative Avenue focuses on thoughtfully curated makers markets, creative retreats, and community-centered experiences across Skagit Valley and beyond. Our goal has always been simple: create spaces where people can connect, discover meaningful goods, and feel part of something. You’ll see us hosting events like Summer MakersFest, Creative Reset Weekends, and other collaborations throughout the year.

The newsletter just went out today!

Realizing I've been a little inconsistent sending it this summer, but that's OK by me (and honestly, do people even notice? Probably not 😂)

The newsletter has info about a new crafty business that just started in town, and some other good things that have happened lately.

Not on the newsletter list and want to be? Let me know and I can get you added! They go out about one a week (or lately every other week).

If you're an artist or maker who sells at markets, has an Etsy shop, or is just trying to figure out how to turn your creative work into something sustainable, this free resource library was built for you.

Pricing your work. Packing for a market. Branding basics. How to actually connect with people at your booth so they buy. It's all in there, and it's free - I created all of the things I wish I had when I first started my art business, and will be regularly adding new resources when I can.

My ADHD brain rarely can sit still enough to read a physical book

I listen to almost everything via the Libby app, in the car or while I'm cooking breakfast and getting ready for the day before I sit down at the computer. Audiobooks let me keep moving and still get the whole story.

AND - sometimes I listen to a book and love it so much that I need to have the physical copy. These are just a few of my favorites. Notice any themes? 😂 A few of these were actually gifts from friends and they ended up being my new favorites too!

As I was thumbing through all of these this morning, I realized a few of my actual favorites are missing.

I've listened to them dozens of times and somehow still don't have a physical copy? so grabbing them next time I'm at the book store! And some of these I haven't read in a while so it might be time to read them again!

📚What's a book I should add to this collection, one you loved enough that it deserves a physical copy?

I obviously am a sucker for creativity, joy, art, women's empowerment, etc. ❤
