Anacortes Sister Cities Association Anacortes began it's first sister city relationship in 1991 with Lomonosov, Russia. In 1995 Kisakata,Japan became our 2nd city followed by Sidney B.C.

Canada in 1996. In 2003 we became sister cities with Vela Luka, Croatia.
