Meet Treyton Turnbull, our president for year 30 of ISUDM! 💙💫
Treyton is entering his fourth year in Dance Marathon at Iowa State. He’s grown in many ways through his involvement, but one skill stands out to him—leadership.
“Dance Marathon has taught me more about what it means to be a leader than any college course ever could. Being a part of a community that you feel such passion for brings a level of motivation that is unmatched!”
Along with his leadership skills, he’s taken away something deeper, experiencing compassion for those facing childhood illness. He says “Dance Marathon is more than just doing something that feels good, it’s about making a commitment to change a life.”
His favorite part about Dance Marathon is “that every aspect of what we do is for good! Every dollar raised, every smile made.”
Treyton also has firsthand experience with what it feels like to be a family supported by Dance Marathon, and his “Why” is sourced from that perspective. “My Why is so that kids can feel the joy that my family felt when we attended our first Dance Marathon!”
