We Three visited the TUBMAN African American Museum, Tuesday in Macon. The grand mission, beyond celebrating our friendship?

Working with Director of Exhibitions, Jeff Bruce, on a 2027 show, featuring the work of southwest Georgia artist Floria Yancey.

Patty Ferry (R) and I are Board members of the local nonprofit of Heart of Sumter, (check out the fb page) the conservator of the Yancey collection.

Our extraordinary, beautiful and talented friend, Joni Woolf, transformed the dream of this special show into a reality, with her connections to the Tubman. Joni once served as the Tubman’s Development Director in her beloved Macon, and, “Used her connections!“

Joni’s connection to Jeff Bruce, (the photographer here) brought our whole project together.

Have you noticed that once forgotten Cotton is now the KID ZONE in Americus??

Long vacant storefronts on Cotton Avenue now house family friendly enterprises… Ethereal Gaming, Baker’s Donut Diner, The Arcade and check out these painting classes! And there’s more coming.

PS did we mention there are three churches holding services in another once vacant Cotton building?!
