Hot, hot day! We had the pleasure of hosting some local vets and their families, some of Lebanon's first responders, and a Fish and Wildlife officer, along with his K-9, Scout, who was a big hit!

Thank you, Warren County Park District, for letting us use Armco Park for our event! And thank you to Davidson's Meat Processing for the awesome pig roast!

As always, we thank our awesome team for your hard work, even when we're close to melting!

We had a great day on the water at Grant Lake this past Saturday! We welcomed the Ft Thomas VA, and everyone enjoyed just being on the water or taking in the quiet of the lake from the dock. Seeing people take chances and trying something new is what keeps our team going! We love getting to know everyone and hearing their stories!

Thank you to Ohio Department of Natural Resources for stopping out to visit. Thank you to Slammers Food Truck for the awesome burgers! And thank you to Stuart G Luginbuhl American Legion Post 72 and Strictly Sail & Kayak for your continued donations! We just purchased 7 new kayaks and and a kayak trailer to add to our fleet. And as always, big thank you to our team for the hard work you put in to serve!

Never Forgotten

We had a great day on the water yesterday at East Fork State Park! We paired with SoulStang to serve the veterans from the Ft Thomas VA. This was our biggest event to date, and thanks our super hard working team, everything ran smoothly and we saw smiles all day long! Thank you to the DAV for always supporting us, and thank you Keith Maupin and ODNR for showing up! We had a really awesome lunch served by Mazunte! It's such a great thing to see when people show up a little nervous or hesitant to try new things, and they come off the water with the biggest smile on their faces! Andy Stump, Andy Smith, Tony Wagers, Chris Narburgh, Chris Padjen, Dennis Allen, Mike and Cherly Carwile, and Adam Webb- you guys work your tails off for our team, couldn't do it without you!

Such a great day on the river with Navy Veteran Mark Duff, and Eagle Scouts Troop 452!
Proud of the growth of these young men and women and always fun listening and watching them all laugh and smile.

A very successful charity event for us, thanks to Cincinnati Kayak Fishing and Strictly Sail & Kayak Cincinnati! Congrats to the winners and thank you to all of the participants for your support! We also had a good amount miscellaneous fishing gear donated, it will be put to good use!

Are you Active, Veteran, or First Responder interested in joining us for one of our events?
Come out to Strictly Sail & Kayak Cincinnati on Saturday from 2-5pm, and come learn about what we do.

Anyone is welcome to come out and shop around their great selection of kayaks and accessories.
If you have gently used fishing gear that you no longer need, Heroes on the Water - Southwest Ohio will kindly take it off your hands.

We will have pizza and refreshments on hand. Also, two raffle baskets available to bid on for $10 per ticket that will help serve our Nation's Heroes.
The support of the community is what helps us do what we do!

Happy to get some veterans from Monti, Inc. out on the lake for a little fishing and relaxation! Despite the heat, seems a good time was had by all!

Thank you to the Village of Newtown for having us at Lake Barber. Thank you to Montgomery Inn for catering. And a big thank you to our team for putting in the hard work to make for another successful event!
