The and is returning to Amarillo again this year on Friday, March 13 and ***rvana806 is so pumped to be able to host them!

The Caravan of Hope is a traveling LGBTQ+ legal clinic, and they will be in town for one day offering pro bono legal support and resources for LGBTQ+ folks and our families.

If you are not able to afford a simple Will and POA’s, need help updating your name or gender marker, or just want to know what your options are, this is a chance to get help in a supportive, affirming environment.

What they can help with (free):
• Name changes
• Gender marker updates and ID related support
• Basic Wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives
• General legal resources and referrals

When: March 13
Time: 9am-5pm
Where: Q***rvana - 202 S Louisiana Street, Amarillo, TX. 79106
Cost: Free

No appointment is required - they will help as many people as they can on a first come, first served basis.

SAFETY WARNING!!!

A study called "Adolescent and Young Adult Gender Dysphoria Outcomes Study or AYAGDOS" is currently recruiting transgender youth and young adults. Multiple trans-led organizations and advocates are urging families not to participate, due to serious concerns about the researchers involved and how this data may be used to undermine gender-affirming care.

This is not a neutral or harmless study.

A link to a longer piece explaining what’s going on, who’s behind it, and why families should be cautious before participating in any trans-related research is in the comments.

Please share so families can make informed, protective decisions for their kids. 🏳️‍⚧️
