𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐒𝐭𝐲 π‡πšπ₯π₯!
The Amarillo City Council has appointed local businessman Brian Bruckner to the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation Board. Bruckner, who previously served on the AEDC, brings valuable experience and a deep understanding of our local economy.

These board positions are filled entirely by volunteers, and we’re grateful to everyone who gives their time to help create more jobs and opportunities for Amarillo families.

After nearly a year of instability at the Amarillo Economic Development Corp., the city council has officially placed its final board member.

🚨 For months, we were told the turmoil at the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation wasn’t impacting economic growth. However, according to Interim CEO Doug Nelson, that’s not the case. In his own words, activity was β€œmuch less.” Fortunately, it looks like we’ve turned the cornerβ€”and momentum is building again.
