Today we celebrated Snack Pak's 13+ years of dedicated service to our kids as Jackie McGibboney retires and starts a new chapter. We were able to check one thing off her bucket list: attending a Kansas Jayhawks Basketball game at Allen Fieldhouse Lawrence Ks. You are the best and made a real difference. Rock Chalk Jayhawk. Thank you.

We moved five times in our first four years, and David Ferril brought his team and equipment to help us move the last three times, and he didn't charge us anything; he just wanted to help our kids and program. David, you made a real difference in our community. Sending special thoughts of comfort to your family.

Every Friday, thousands of kids across the Texas Panhandle will take a Snack Pak home for the weekend. Before we choose what goes inside, we ask kids to taste the food and tell us what they like. We listen. Then we send home brand-new, brand-name foods they helped choose. Dignity and respect start with being heard.

This morning we celebrated September birthdays with a little extra flavor. Thank you, Amanda Cornett, for providing breakfast in honor of your dad and all our volunteers.

"Snack Pak 4 Kids has been near and dear to my heart for 14 years. I began serving when my boys were little, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of seeing the incredible impact this organization has on children, families, and our community. I’ve always believed children are our future, and SP4K invests directly in that future.

Today its impact on my life has become even more personal. SP4K welcomed my father with open arms as a volunteer and in doing so, helped him rediscover a sense of purpose, belonging, and a place where he feels valued. Watching that has touched my heart more than I can put into words. SP4K feeds children, strengthens our community, and reminds us that everyone has something meaningful to give.

I’m so grateful to be a small part of this beautiful organization. If you’re looking for a place to make a difference, I encourage you to get involved." Amanda Cornett

Thank you to all our volunteers for investing in the Future - and Happy Birthday Edward, Mark and Joyce!

Thank you to Tessa and The Kids Aid Backpack Program in Grand Junction, Colorado, for spending two days with us as we visited our Snack Shak high school grocery stores. We are grateful for the opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen the work we are doing for students. Tessa Kaiser, you are a great leader making a real difference for kids in your community.

We met with the His Purpose Foundation back in April, and yesterday they shared some great news: they’re sponsoring 15 schools this school year that didn’t have sponsors. Thank you, His Purpose Foundation, for making a difference and investing in our kids.
