Alvin Meals on Wheels 100% funded by neighbors like you. Our mission is to provide balanced meals to the homebound. Someone MUST be available to accept the meals.

Our organization has been testing weekly delivery of meals for some time now, and we have decided to continue this as our standard process. We believe this decision enables us to best utilize the time of our volunteers, as well as the time commitment needed from our recipients; cutting their commitment down to only 1 day per week instead of five days a week. Weekly delivery offers some flexibility

with our clients' scheduling of doctor and/or personal appointments. Therefore, we ask that recipients not schedules any appointments on Mondays since a week's worth of meal s will be delivered on this day. All other program rules remain the same. If they will not be home for a Monday delivery the MUST notify us before the Monday delivery by calling 281-585-6633. Again, we believe this change benefits our recipients and our volunteers.
