We hope you all have a wonderful day celebrating the 250th commemoration of our country's independence.

Hey Friends! Thank you for all the feedback from the parade last weekend. We are so glad it went well and look forward to next year. Make sure you go to the previous post and vote for your favorite parade entry. A prize will be given on July 4th for the one with the most votes.

Our next event is our big festival on September 12th. We have some great music lined up with Rhym Shot, two awesome food trucks, a lemonade truck, vendor booths and a silent auction. More details will be posted closer to time but mark your calendars for this 3rd annual event.

Lastly, we need your help! We are only 96 people away from having 1000 followers on our page. Please share so we can grow this group and get the word out about our events.

Beat the heat tomorrow and join us for some ice cream! Alvaton Church of Christ at 6:00. Cool treats and good fellowship!!

Sunday, we'll heat things back up with a 4th of July community parade. Join us for the 1st parade of its kind in this area. Parade starts at 2:00, lineup for entries begins at 1:00 on Alvaton Greenhill Road by New Hope Church. Not too late to enter! Just get your ride together and join in the fun.

Hey friends! If anyone is interested in setting up a up a lemonade stand or sweet treats after the parade, we have permission from Twisted Sister (the old Alvaton Store) to set up one or two vendors on the side of their building. I had someone with lemonade but they are no longer available.
