Stephen E. Booker Foundation The Stephen E. Booker Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to fund and support Booker's Place.

Booker's Place is a child advocacy center that provides free services to children who may have been abused or neglected. Booker Foundation through Booker's Place, not only provides services to suspected victims of child abuse and neglect, but also provides services to family members. The multi-disciplinary team associated with Booker's Place provides free training regarding child abuse to communit

💙 THANK YOU, ALTUS! 💙

Because of the incredible generosity of our community partners, approximately 75 meals were provided to children waiting in DHS offices for foster placement.

When children enter foster care, they often spend hours—and sometimes days—waiting for a safe place to go. Thanks to these businesses and community supporters, those children received more than a meal. They received comfort, kindness, and a reminder that their community cares.

A special thank you to Roberts, Taqueria Hernandez, Just Brew It, Plaza Restaurant, Western Sizzlin, Friendship Inn, Whataburger, and Heavy Haulers for showing up for children in foster care.

While Foster Care Awareness Month may be ending, the need does not end in May. Children continue to enter foster care every day, and DHS offices are always in need of donations to help support children awaiting placement.

If you would like to make a difference, donations of meals, gift cards, snacks, comfort items, and other essentials are always appreciated.

Together, we can continue showing up for children when they need it most. 💙

This Memorial Day, Booker’s Place honors the heroes who never made it home and the families who carry their memory every day. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
