Because of the incredible interest in our Type 1 Diabetes Awareness Night at the Altoona Curve on June 24th, The Last Juicebox Project has decided to purchase 25 additional tickets to gift to families affected by Type 1 diabetes! 💙

While our donated box suite seats are officially full, we didn’t want families to miss out on this special night. These additional seats will be all together, giving families a chance to still connect, mingle, and hopefully make some new local T1D friends who just get it. 🫶

Our very first FREE Juicebox Kids Club at Home & Harvest filled our hearts 💙

We talk a lot about the big picture and funding research, pushing for better treatments, and one day, a cure for type 1 diabetes. But when we say we want to support families in the here and now, this is exactly what we mean.

Getting families in a room together who are walking a road that not many truly understand. Watching kids instantly connect with other kids who just get it, who know what it means to have to stop playing for a juice box, wait for a low to come up, or sit something out for a few minutes until blood sugars come up. Kids who won’t ask questions or stare…they’ll just sit beside you until you’re okay and ready to go again.

And for parents, having the chance to connect with others at different points in this journey; to share stories, ask questions, offer encouragement, and just feel a little less alone.

That kind of connection matters so much.

This is why we do what we do. Not just for the someday cure, but for the families living this every single day right now.

Thank you to every family who came out and made our very first free Juicebox Kids Club so incredibly special. Our hearts are full, and we’re already excited for the next event 💙

🎨 Kids will design their own “low bag” and fill it with their favorite treats at our candy station
🧸 Then create their own stuffie (Build-A-Bear style!), choose a name, and even add a Dexcom or Omnipod—with the option to decorate it 💙

Because being prepared can feel colorful, confident, and a little bit sweet 🧃
