Expedition 33 is heading to Ebensburg for the Run for Autumn 5K! This isn't just a race; it's a beautiful community day of remembrance, unity, and love keeping Autumn Danchanko's spirit alive. 100% of the proceeds benefit amazing local causes: Camp Cadet, Autumn’s Playground at Lion’s Field, and the Dauntless Fire Company.
Whether you want to smash a new personal record on the flat and fast Ghost Town Trail, power through a casual walk, or try out their brand new strength challenge, this event has it all.

# # # 🏋️ & 🏃 NEW FOR 2026: The "Pump & Run" Option!

Feeling strong? This year features a 5K Pump & Run category! You can enter a bench press competition before the 5K race. For every successful rep of your body weight percentage (up to 30 reps max), 30 seconds will be deducted from your final 5K time! You can enter the 5K, the Pump & Run, or BOTH. There is even a $50 cash prize for the top overall male and female finishers!

The race kicks off at the YPCC, takes us down the scenic Ghost Town Trail toward Revloc, hits a designated turnaround, and brings us right back.

Are you looking to break out of the daily grind, get active, and find a crew that actually sticks together? Expedition 33 is a community specifically for adults in their 20s and 30s in the Altoona area who believe that life is better lived outdoors, in motion, and with great company.

We aren’t just another "happy hour" group (though we definitely enjoy the nightlife!). We are a collection of like-minded people who value adventure, physical activity, and genuine support for one another. Whether we’re pushing our limits or kicking back by a fire, the goal is always the same: community first.

Our "expeditions" vary by the week, ranging from high-energy sports to relaxed social hangouts:

The Triad: Running, biking, and swimming sessions for all skill levels.

Nightlife & Socials: Exploring the best local spots, trivia nights, and downtown energy.

The Hearth: Backyard fires, deep conversations, and the occasional (and highly encouraged) lightsaber battle under the stars.

Mutual Support: We’re here to help each other out, whether it’s moving a couch, professional networking, or just being a listening ear.
