We are SO grateful for their generosity and help!!

Giving back is as essential as water! 29 of our engineers from across our IL offices volunteered this week at IMerge Community Center. They completed tasks like general maintenance and cleaning throughout the building as well as spruced up some areas with fresh paint. Our team's efforts contribute to the welcoming, safe environment iMerge creates for community members. Way to go, team!

The iMerge Community Center is a 15,000-square-foot state-of-the-art entertainment and educational facility located in the heart of Downtown Alton, IL. This non-profit organization provides teens with a safe and fun alternative to at-risk behaviors and negative peer pressure, but there are events and educational opportunities for people of all ages.

It’s AmerICANs in Action! Month of Service — throughout the month of September, Illinois American Water employees across the business participate in a variety of community service projects. Although many team members give countless hours to help others throughout the year, this is the time when employees get involved in one collective effort. Stay tuned for more updates showcasing how our employees have a positive impact in their local communities.

Officer Averbeck and Odin came to visit us at iMerge just a few short weeks ago. We are so saddened by the news of Odin’s passing this morning and Officer Averbecks injuries.
RIP Odin. 💔
Prayers for quick healing and peace go out to Officer Averbeck.

Alton is so lucky to have so many people who work incredibly hard to keep up the center and offer a safe space for our youth to enjoy some time together outside of school. 
Such an amazing time.
