Remembering all our military men and women, we have lost to battle. Either the ones we watched and have read about in history books; or to the silent battles they were fighting alone! We thank you for your sacrifice!❤️🙏🪖

It's okay NOT to be okay!

We all experience periods of stress, grief, anxiety, and depression. However, when those feelings are prolonged, intense, and nothing you do seems to help, it might be time to see a professional.

You may benefit from a therapist if you have:

~Trouble focusing
~Loss of interest in things you previously enjoyed
~Problems in relationships
~Physical health problems
~Negative coping mechanism like substance abuse or self-harm
~Behavior outbursts or aggression in children
~Not been able to get a thought out of your mind or reliving a traumatic moment over and over

Sometimes the most important step is listening. Taking time to listen to the concerns of a young person in your life can help them feel safe sharing what they’re experiencing. https://www.samhsa.gov/mental-health/children-and-families

Talking to children about mental health and illness can be an opportunity for parents and caregivers to provide their children with information, support, and guidance. Mental and substance use disorders in families can impact family dynamics.
