The 4th Annual Gala of Giving HOPE

For 40 years, NAMI Central Florida has brought hope, support, and advocacy to individuals and families across our community.

Join us as we celebrate 40 Years of Impact at NAMI Central Florida's 4th Annual Gala of Giving HOPE. On October 9, 2026, we invite you to an elegant black-tie evening commemorating this remarkable milestone and celebrating the impact we have made together.

Guests will enjoy an exceptional culinary experience, inspiring stories of resilience and recovery, special recognition of community champions, exciting fundraising opportunities, and a powerful keynote presentation by former University of Florida basketball standout, international professional athlete, and author Patric Young.

As we celebrate four decades of advocacy, education, support, and hope, every dollar raised will help ensure NAMI Central Florida can continue providing free mental health programs and services to those who need them most.

Today is Mental Health Action Day, a reminder that awareness matters, but action creates change đź’š

One way to take action is by donating to NAMIWalks. We are currently just over $3,000 away from reaching our $250,000 fundraising goal, and every donation helps expand access to free mental health support, education programs, and support groups for individuals and families across Central Florida.

Mental health affects so many people in our community, and no one should have to walk their journey alone. Every dollar raised through NAMIWalks stays local and helps us continue showing up for those who need connection, support, and hope.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and what a wonderful time it is to look back on the incredible support shown at NAMIWalks Central Florida 💚👟🚶‍➡️

This year marked 20 years of NAMIWalks, and we’re still celebrating the energy, connection, and community that made this event so special. From teams walking together to music, activities, vendors, and celebrations throughout the day, it was amazing to see so many people come together in support of mental health.

We want to sincerely thank every participant, volunteer, vendor, sponsor, donor, and supporter who helped make this year’s walk possible. Because of supporters like you, in 2025 we were able to provide support to more than 20,000 people through our free programs, and this year we hope to reach even more individuals and families throughout Central Florida.

There’s still time to be part of this year’s impact. So far, we’ve raised $242,428 for mental health and are just over than $7,000 away from reaching our $250,000 goal.

Every donation helps expand access to free support, education, and support groups for those who need them most. Help us cross the finish line and continue bringing mental health support to more of our community!
