This was Sept. 23rd last year…..
True Love!
Lisa and her baby Bella.
She always made her birthday special.

She is still with me and will be 19 this year!

We rescued her 17 years ago with her brother Noah who passed away suddenly two years ago.

This is “Lucas” who we rescued from the Animal Protective Foundation.

He was abused and neglected with so many medical problems.
When the APF called her for help, Lisa of course stepped right up and brought him home.

She made sure he got all the medical care he needed and became a member of our family.
He is still with me.

She always made it a point to visit them with any updates.

Back in the day we had so much fun wrapping presents for the digs at Christmas and watching them rip them open ,or sometimes we would help.

This one make me smile. This is Bella in her arms almost 16 years ago.
She is still with us today !

Then there is beautiful Ryba who passed away at the young age of 7 with cancer on her spleen. It was so sudden.
This one still really hurts.
We called her mother hen because she always patrolled the property and kept all of the littles safe. She was amazing.

Another pet helped by Lisa Cap’s Legacy.

This is Millie.
Lived her life as a breeding dog at a puppy mill and then was no longer wanted.
She is 9+ years old and was rescued by Free to beme Rescue.

She was in such tough shape.
She needed a total dental and like we see so many times, mammary tumors that needed to be removed.

Fortunately no cancer.

We were able to help with some of the medical bills and she will be up for adoption soon.

Another senior pet helped by Lisa Cap’s Legacy.

Meet “Gotcha”
She is looking for a home at the Animal Protective Foundation in Glenville.

I had her on TV with me…..so sweet.

Because she is older, our group is sponsoring her adoption fees to help.

Gotcha – At 13 years young, this sweet, spayed Domestic Shorthair has mastered the art of enjoying the good life. And trust us—once you meet her, she'll capture your heart!
This lovely senior girl adores affection and will happily soak up every pet, chin scratch, and cuddle you're willing to give. She's the kind of companion who simply wants to be by your side, making every quiet moment a little sweeter.

Another pet helped by Cap's Legacy

Last week we had a cat named Faith on TV.
She’s a younger girl only about a year-old. She is full of life and And is so happy.
She is with Everlasting Hope Animal Rescue

Sadly, she had a traumatic injury that caused one of her back legs to be amputated.
She is doing great and she doesn’t even know she’s missing a leg.
Faith is going to be a wonderful addition to any family.

Once again, she fits perfectly in our group to help because she is missing a leg and has a disability.
Lisa Cap’s Legacy will pay for the adoption fees and send a little bit more money to help with the medical costs.

Another Pet helped by Lisa Cap’s Legacy.

Back in April, we had a cat on Pet Connection named “Littles”
It’s kind of funny, he’s actually a really big Cat probably over 15 pounds.

He is a total love bug and is now looking for a A Home at the Montgomery County SPCA in Amsterdam.

He was originally adopted out after his TV appearance in the spring by an older woman. Sadly, she passed away and he ended up back at the Shelter.

Littles was on with me again, and because of his age, he fits perfectly under our program and we have sponsored his adoption fees.

Because of YOU……We’ve been able to already help so many, and This is just the beginning.

* Members rounding up their purchases or making donations in our Travel Store.
* Monthly raffles or fundraising sales.
* Our Brooks' BBQ fundraiser on September 24, with all proceeds benefiting Lisa Cap's Legacy.
