When young men get the opportunity to share their thoughts, feelings, & experiences without judgement, criticism, or being made fun of… they are often surprised at how good it feels to do so…

We believe every young person deserves the chance to feel fully alive, connected, and capable. Our vision is to improve the lives of teens by bringing them into wild nature, offering steady adult mentorship, and sharing practices that support full-spectrum human thriving

Our 2026 WILD Season is SO close to starting and we are looking forward to all the beautiful moments around the fire together 💚

Two long standing Bay Area Non - Profit organizations are joining hands in creating, cultivating, and offering a unique offering 🔥

Back to Earth’s WILD Scholars Program and YouthAlive’s Violence Interrupter Team have come together to offer a 7 day transformative backpacking trip this summer, specifically for the young men of Oakland, CA

This special opportunity is for young men between the ages of 14-18!

We are offering a trip limited to 12 spots on a 7 day summer backpacking trip into Tahoe National Forest for FREE

Each of the 12 participants will receive a FULL - WILD Scholarship - that means that everything is fully funded and provided 💯

Meaning!

Registration cost ($2700 value), food, gear, transportation, pre trip mentoring, & post season celebration are all included!

All you have to do is come to the info session - go through a small application process and say YES to the opportunity 🪶
