Good morning, Alpine Food Pantry family!

This coming Monday will be our last major food distribution of the season at the Buckboard Cabins.

Monday’s Distribution Schedule

1300 (1:00 PM): Vehicle staging begins.
1400 (2:00 PM): Food distribution is expected to begin.
Please note that this will be our last drive-up food distribution until March 2027.

Winter Assistance Program

As we transition into our winter hours, Alpine Food Pantry will continue to support members of our community who need assistance. Although our regular drive-up distributions will be paused, we will still make food available through individual arrangements at the Alpine Community Center Office.

If you need assistance during the winter months, please contact Katherine Babonis or Kevin “Sarge” Sargent directly. We will work with you to arrange a distribution based on the food supplies we have available.

Please keep in mind that winter hours will be limited, so reach out when you can. Individual distributions will be arranged on a first-come, first-served basis.

Most importantly, please don't let pride or embarrassment keep you from asking for help. We are here for our neighbors, and we intend to continue helping our community throughout the winter months.

Hello Alpine…

It is that time of the month again as we prepare for our Monday distribution, held on the third Monday of each month.
This Monday, we will be distributing Food at the buckboard Cabins from 2 PM until supplies are run out.
As we approach the winter months we will begin winding down our larger monthly distribution efforts. November 2026 through March 2027 will be our winter months, during which assistance will be handled on a more personal, individual basis. If you need assistance during the one month, please reach out to one of our board members: Kevin Sargent or Katherine Babonis.
We will continue to be available to assist our local families through the winter. However, scheduling will be more limited due to other commitments, weather conditions, and food availability.
One more important request… please be an advocate for the Alpine Food Pantry! If you know of individuals, businesses, or seasonal residence who have non-perishable food items they would like to donate, please encourage them to contact one of the winter months board members. We will gladly collect, organize, and inventory these donations. This is especially important for seasonal residence who leave the area during the winter months. Rather than allowing good, non-perishable food to sit, unused or eventually expire, please encourage them to donate it to the Alpine Food Pantry before they leave. The larger winter inventory, the more local families we can assist throughout the winter months!

Good morning, Alpine!

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude today. We would love for everyone in our community to give Erin, Donnie, Tara, and Travis a big hug the next time you see them!

They poured their hearts into making this year’s Annual Worm Races at the Ye Ol’ Tavern a tremendous success. Because of their hard work and generosity, they donated an incredible $1,850 to the Alpine Food Pantry.

This amazing gift will help us provide food for thousands of our neighbors in need. Their kindness and commitment remind us just how special our community truly is.

To everyone at Ye Ol’ Tavern—thank you for being such an important part of Alpine. Your generosity and support continue to make a lasting difference, and we are so grateful to have you in our corner.

Good morning, Alpine Community!

With the well-deserved rain we’re receiving, the Alpine Food Pantry distribution for Monday, July 20 has been moved to the Large Lodge at Buckboard Cabins, near the fire station.

* Vehicle staging: 1:00 PM
* Food distribution: 2:00–4:00 PM

If you are unable to make it, please send me a message or call 573-337-0222. I’ll do everything I can to set a food box aside for you.

To our volunteers: Katherine and Ann will be reaching out to discuss the transition to the new location and answer any questions.

Thank you for your flexibility and continued support. Remember—we do this for you and for our community!

Good morning Alpine community… It’s that time of the month that we will be distributing our Food Pantry. Monday, 15 June 2026 we will start stating vehicles at 2 o’clock at The Alpine first Baptist Church! If this is your first time, please know it’ll take five minutes to fill out an intake form. Oh my Alpine… Our community Alpine Food Pantry was able to feed 67 households with a total number of 194 mouths fed from our 18 May, 2026 food distribution! Compared to March numbers of 46/124! he special shout out to all of our volunteers and to the board of directors for putting this all together! Let’s continue to work together and feed our community!

We will be distributing food boxes at the first Baptist Church in Alpine, Monday the 18th, 2026. Vehicle staging will start at 2 o’clock. Ann and Katherine will be reaching out to all the volunteers to designate times to help.🫡❤️🇺🇸

To our wonderful community and volunteers! After logging in the recipients, we were able to serve 55 households with 151 individuals! God is Great! Special thank you goes out to everyone that weather the rain and showed up Monday to make a memorable experience! 🫡❤️🇺🇸
