🌵 SUPER SATURDAY IN ALPINE: Rocks, Stars, & Earth Day! 🌵
We are back at the Alpine Civic Center for Day 2, and the schedule is packed! From rare gemstones to local geology and evening celebrations, here is your guide to the best Saturday in West Texas.
At the Civic Center (Free Admission 9am–5pm):
💎 50+ Vendors & Food Trucks – All day shopping and eats! Including Anvil & Apron cooking up a feast.
💍 Free Ring Making (Free!): 10:30, 12:30, 2:30
🧒 Adopt-A-Rock (Free!): 9:30, 11:00 & 3:30
⭐️ Book Signing (Adrienne McElwain, Addy’s Adventures Rock Collecting): 12:30 PM First 20 kids receive signed book and starter mineral kit.
At the Alpine Public Library:
🎙️ Guest Speaker (2:00 PM): Join Dr. Jesse Kelsch for a deep dive into the fascinating geology of our region. If you’ve ever wanted to know the story behind the rocks in your hand, don’t miss this! FREE!!
On 12th Street:
🌎 Earth Day & Dark Sky Party! Head over to the backside of the Alpine Civic Center on 12th Street (1pm - 4pm) to celebrate our planet and our famous West Texas stars. It’s the perfect way to keep the party going! FREE!
