SERA SMART Villages (Sustainable Eco-friendly Rural Areas) is a nonprofit organization registered in both the USA and India, committed to transforming underserved rural and tribal communities through a holistic, grassroots model of development. Founded by Synthia Padala, a former IT Director turned social entrepr
eneur, SERA was born from lived experience—after she left her corporate career to live in signal-free villages of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, India, to deeply understand rural challenges and co-create sustainable solutions with the community.
