It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Tucker, an 11-year-old Shih Tzu who touched so many lives.

Tucker was more than just a dog—he was family. Many of you knew him as the friendly face who greeted customers every Saturday at our resale shop. With his wagging tail, sweet personality, and gentle spirit, he made everyone feel welcome. Tucker was also a regular visitor at the shelter, where he brought smiles to staff, volunteers, and animals alike.

Whether he was greeting shoppers, making new friends, or simply soaking up attention from everyone he met, Tucker had a special gift for brightening people’s days. His presence brought comfort, joy, and countless happy memories to our Second Chance family.

We are grateful for every moment we shared with him and for the love he gave so freely. While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Tucker lived a life filled with love and that his paw prints will forever remain on our hearts.

Run free, sweet Tucker. Thank you for being such a wonderful ambassador, friend, and companion. You will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you. ❤️🐾
