Next Monday is our next Board meeting and we are almost finished with our by laws. Once approved they will be posted. We are also in the planning stage of some events coming up. So be on the look out for those.

CHRISTMAS IN McFARLAND 2023

Everyone is invited as we kick off “Christmas in McFarland” this Saturday, Dec. 9th. The day begins with Brunch with Santa. Tickets are required for this event and are still available for the second session.

In the evening, the lighted Christmas parade and the city park and community Christmas tree lighting will take place between 5:00-6:00pm. Then folks can pop on over to the McF SC for hot chocolate or spiced cider with homemade cookies. Other events this month are as follows:

Christmas Caroling: All are welcome to participate on Tuesday, 12-12 and Thursday 12-14 at 6:30-7:30pm. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available afterwards.

Hot Chocolate and Cookie Drive Thru: Come on back through town again to look at the beautiful Christmas lights and displays. On Saturday, 12-16, Sunday 12-17, and Saturday 12-23 the drive thru will be open from 6:00-9:00pm each evening at the McF SC (located at 503 Main Street). We will be serving hot chocolate and cookies. Cost is 10.00 per vehicle. All passengers will receive hot chocolate and cookies. Donations will go towards TEAM McF and the McF SC’s Christmas efforts for 2024.

Christmas Lights and Decorating Contest: Prizes will be awarded to the top three best decorated homes or businesses in McFarland. Judging will take place Sunday, 12-17. Please have lights on by 6:30pm that evening.

And don’t forget to mark the calendar for the after Christmas event “It’s a Wrap” on Saturday, 1-13-24. We will once again be accepting any gently used Christmas decorations, lights, or other Christmas items in working order you may no longer be wanting or using. Details for drop off will follow in January.
