Unfortunately, due to volunteer staffing issues, the Kiwanis club will not be selling waffles this year. We sincerely appreciate the community support in the park in the past and will look forward to seeing you at the Kiwanis Pancake Jamboree on the first Saturday in November at the high school.

Karen Perone, the President of the Alliance Historical Society recently visited the Alliance Kiwanis club meeting. Karen shared the upcoming events for the America 250 celebrations in the city of Alliance. Thank you, Karen for sharing these fun upcoming events!

As Americans join together to celebrate the 250th, or Semiquincentennial, anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, citizens in Alliance will be joining in with flags, music, and tributes that are significant to the city. Here are the events for the year.

A huge shout out to the Lexington Elementary School’s K-Kids, and the Kiwanis Club’s K-Kids advisor Dana Bericchia for making a $500 donation to the Wishes Can Happen organization. Fourth grade president Jadyn and fifth grade president Wyatt had the honor of presenting a check to Cyndi Morrow, the organization’s executive director.
