Parenting doesn’t come with a handbook, but it doesn’t have to be done alone.

We’re honored to partner with Casa Guadalupe Center and Fruitful Seeds Counseling, LLC to bring you our Parent Support Summer Series. This is a safe, welcoming space where parents can connect, grow, and leave with practical tools to support both their families and themselves.

💼♻️ Week 5 of our Workforce Development Program is packed with practical skills, career preparation, and creative ways to earn extra income!

This week, participants are working on:
📝 Professional cover letters📄 Resume summaries
♻️ Turning trash into cash through scrapping
📱 Cash-back and gift card rewards apps

After visiting E. Schneider & Sons, Inc. and learning how the scrap metal industry works, we brought that knowledge back to our participants to show them practical ways to earn extra income.

Smart parents = smart shoppers! 🛒💰

Yesterday, Roosevelt Elementary parents joined us for our Smart Shoppers Program, where they learned practical ways to stretch every dollar through couponing, cashback apps, store rewards, meal planning, and ethical shopping strategies.

Participants explored:
✨ Coupon stacking
✨ Cash-back apps like Ibotta, Fetch, Rakuten, and Upside
✨ Kids Eat Free deals in the Lehigh Valley
✨ Grocery store sales and loyalty programs
✨ Real-life shopping scenarios to maximize savings

These are real-world tools that help families reduce expenses and keep more money in their pockets.

Week 2 of our Adult Workforce Development Program is complete 💼🔥

One thing we know for sure:
You cannot build an effective workforce program if you don’t truly understand the people sitting in the room.

Last week, participants completed:
✔️ Interest Profiler Assessments
✔️ Workplace Employability Skills Assessments

We explored:
➡️ strengths
➡️ communication styles
➡️ work preferences
➡️ leadership potential
➡️ employability skills

Because finding “a job” isn’t enough. The goal is finding the RIGHT fit.

Every chart, score, and conversation helps us better understand how to support each participant individually instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach.
