Weather was perfect for football practice this evening!!

Best part of the day was when one of the boys on 12 u was struggling with a conditioning drill. He was dead tired and on the verge of giving up. The 10u team went over and surrounded him and clapped and encouraged. That kid was able to dig deep and get back up and finish the drill. GOOSEBUMPS!!

Football weather policy:

In general, we will be at the practice field and will make a call whether to practice or not at that time. We practice in rain but not lightning. Our weather is too unpredictable to make a call early in the day.

If we show up and there is lightning within 10 miles we will take a 30 min break and if no more lightning we continue practice. If there is lightning within that 30 min window we will probably send everyone home at that time.

We are fortunate to be a part of such a special program. Great people, great facilities, one goal……. Developing children to be the best football player, cheerleader, and human being that they can be!!

We had a wonderfully successful pre season board meeting last night. For the first time in a long time we had a 100 percent turn out from our parks / board members. THANK YOU ALL!!!

The ball is moving, First and 10, Time for the next set of downs. Looking forward to a greatly successful drive this season.
