True community is not about what happens in the spotlight. It is about who shows up to do the heavy lifting when no one is watching. Over the past seven years, we have learned that genuine connection is the most powerful tool we have.

Our Community Intervention Services program thrives because of the incredible partners we have in our corner. Last year, ASPIRE to Autonomy teamed up with Thankfull Hearts to tackle food insecurity right here in Allentown. Twice a week, our CIS workers are on site during pantry days, helping families navigate resources and find the exact support they need.

Today, that partnership looked a little different. We traded in our resource guides for a different kind of service. When the call came in to help unload a massive truck of supplies for the food pantry, we showed up ready to sweat. It is not the prettiest side of community building, but it is what true collaboration looks like.

Thank you to Daniel and the entire ThankFuLL Hearts team for allowing us to stand beside you. We are so grateful to share in this mission and do the real work it takes to empower the Lehigh Valley.

One of the absolute highlights of this year's LadyBoss Summit was the highly anticipated debut of our very first LB Summit Marketplace. We set out to create an environment that went beyond the standard exchange of business cards to build a true ecosystem for tangible commerce and connection.

It was a fantastic experience to watch our attendees intentionally slow down, engage in meaningful conversations with local founders, and make real purchases right there in the room. That is the exact definition of empowerment in action. Every time a guest stopped to learn about a vendor's mission and chose to invest in their product, they were directly funding a family, a community, and a legacy. The Marketplace completely elevated the energy of the summit, proving that when we blend strategic business development with authentic support, everyone wins.

Seeing the undeniable success of this initiative has only fueled our vision for the future. We are already at the drawing board, mapping out the strategy to significantly expand the LB Summit Marketplace for next year to create even larger opportunities for collaboration and economic growth. What a time we had at the LadyBoss Summit 2026. Looking out at a sold-out room of nearly 160 women gathering in one place, standing together, and celebrating empowerment at its best is an experience that will forever anchor my spirit. You cannot simply manufacture that kind of energy; it must be built on a foundation of faith, collaboration, and a shared vision for the future.

When we talk about building a legacy, we are talking about true generational impact. On Friday, we saw exactly what that looks like in real time. We had an incredible range of leaders in the room, including our youngest attendee who was just 10 years old. To see her witnessing the strength, resilience, and brilliance of the women around her is exactly why we do this work. We are showing the next generation what is possible when women support one another.

That commitment to the future was cemented when we proudly awarded our very first LadyBoss Scholarship. Investing in the next chapter of a young woman's educational and professional journey is the ultimate return on investment. This summit was never just about a single day of networking. It is about creating a sustainable pipeline of opportunity, leadership, and unwavering support. Last week's LadyBoss Summit was packed with powerful moments of connection and empowerment, but it was also full of incredible surprises. That is exactly the energy we captured when a very special, unexpected guest walked through the doors to join our event.

We were absolutely thrilled and honored to welcome FeFe, Lehigh Valley IronPigs mascot, to the summit. She was a fantastic addition to an already powerful day, bringing an unmatched level of joy and energy to the room. It was truly special to watch so many of our guests light up, step away from their notes, and take a moment to capture pictures with her.

Last Friday's LadyBoss Summit was such a success that it shifted the atmosphere and redefined what it means to build a legacy in the Lehigh Valley. The room was packed with visionaries and change makers, but one of the most powerful moments of the entire day was pausing to honor a woman who has dedicated her life to serving others.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the presentation of the Mariska Titus-Mitchner Award, generously presented by our partners at Unity Bank. This award was created to recognize an individual whose life's work reflects an unwavering commitment to service, community empowerment, and the elevation of marginalized voices. It is a testament to those who step into the trenches of community work and build lasting, sustainable frameworks for change.

It was our distinct privilege to present this year's award to Dawn Godshall, the Chief Executive Officer at Community Action Lehigh Valley. Dawn was chosen because her entire career is a masterclass in purpose-driven leadership and resilience.
