Today, at Barbara’s Market in honor of my mother, a wonderful group of senior citizens gathered to receive nourishing produce. I extend my heartfelt thanks to McKinney Roots for generously donating an assortment of fresh produce to support our senior community. A total of 37 guests received red onions, fresh picked lettuce, colorful green peppers, oka, potatoes, and zucchini, nourishing bodies and fostering community spirit.

Whew, we had a great market today. We moved inside to avoid the heat.

What a wonderful day for our local market! We distributed donated grocery wagons, and many recipients were very happy!

Today, thanks to Amazing Grace Food Pantry, we provided:

- Gold potatoes 🥔
- Onions 🧅
- Chayotes
- Frozen chicken cauliflower dinners
- Assorted fruit
- Sweet butter 🧈
- English muffins
- Yogurt
- Protein drinks
- Ramen 🍜
- Meat, cheese, and cracker snacks

Good Samaritans of Garland are in a crisis situation. Their volunteer coordinator has been in the hospital now going on 2 weeks. They are in desperate need of volunteers. They need anywhere from 5 to 10 volunteers each day. They feed about 300 families a day putting items in food boxes and taking in food when it's being delivered there. They need help on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8am-2pm

Working in the pantry and kitchen:
Pantry- helping bring food in and where it needs to go, stock shelves, prep dry goods boxes
Kitchen- prep the carts for families (meat, milk, eggs, dry good box, produce, bread, sweets)
