As the fair continues through this week, the alumni would like to thank all the businesses and families who made the catered meals this year possible.

Throughout the history of Avenue, parents have provided meals, recently that’s been harder to manage with chaperones, snacks and meals. We are extremely grateful to be working with a catering company on the fair grounds who can easily drop meals off 3 times a day for all the students. The meals have been everything from sliders, Mac and cheese, sloppy joes, and pork loin. The cheese burger sliders may be the students favorite!

The banner hanging in Avenue shows each company and family who sponsored, if you see these individuals please thank them for supporting our group. We would also like to thank Heartland Coop in Slater for donating an LP tank for our stove.

We look forward to the next week of fair! Thank you!

Bunny is a crowd and student favorite! We are grateful to have her come back year after year! Thank you to the breeders who trust us during the ISF.

Today is the day! Day 1 of the Iowa State Fair!
